Houston, we've fixed the problem

After about an hour of messing around, I finally managed to hook my laptop up to my dad's wireless internet. Now I can novel and attend the virtual write-in at midnight without having to hog my dad's desktop. And besides that, when I'm here I can use the internet wherever without being tied to the modem with a cable.
